Your Mission:

  • Represent harness team in system and subsystem trade studies
  • Design harnesses, including schematics, wiring, and routing definitions
  • Define, maintain, and automate interface documentation (Pin maps, schematics, ICDs)
  • Perform equipment interface verification and discrepancy troubleshooting
  • Document build instructions for harness manufacturing
  • Plan and support satellite harness manufacture and integration activities
  • Support mechanical design, layout, integration, and as-built validation
  • Continuous development of best practices and harness processes

Your Background:

  • 3+ years of experience in harness design
  • Experience in the space industry is a must
  • Interest in designing and building electromechanical systems
  • Proficiency with Altium and 3D CAD routing (e.g., NX, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo) for electrical routing
  • Knowledge of signal processing,  power fundamentals, and electrical engineering principles
  • Familiarity with satellite subsystems and environmental factors in space
  • Strong hands-on mentality and comfort working with physical hardware
  • Knowledge of ECSS/ESCC standards, EMC/EMI practices, and satellite AIT processes
  • Proficient in Python (scripting and interfacing with APIs) and Git (comfortable with branches and MRs)
