We're handing someone the keys to Pitch's social presence: on camera, in the edit, in the room with our leadership and our customers. Think of it less like a marketing job and more like a residency. You get a fast-growing startup as your creative playground, full access to the people and stories inside it, and the freedom to figure out what actually gets watched.
You'll be the face of our social videos. Confident, funny, a little chaotic in the best way, and always up for the trend everyone else is too nervous to try. You'll interview experts and customers, get our leadership team talking on camera (or write for them when they'd rather not), and show up wherever the story is, remote or in the office, on the road, at events. This isn't about racking up views for their own sake. It's about content that gets people to actually notice Pitch and want in.
What you’ll do
- Star in video content: solo, with Pitchers, with customers, with partners, wherever the camera needs to be
- Shoot and edit, including cutdowns for ads and other channels
- Write short-form copy that doesn't sound like it came out of a committee, and get it live through SproutSocial
- Show up at events and meet-ups to capture the moments worth sharing
- Chase the algorithm across LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, and know that a good TikTok is not the same thing as a good YouTube Short
- Ghostwrite for leadership or coach them to find their own voice on social
- Partner with marketing to bring launches, updates, and campaigns to life
Requirements
- A creator first. You likely already have your own following, and you've grown brand channels across more than one platform at once, ideally for a SaaS, tech, or professional services company
- Genuinely comfortable and excited on camera. This role doesn't work if you'd rather be behind the lens
- A sharp, opinionated read on what works where, and why
- The instincts of a self-starter who tests fast, drops what doesn't work, and moves on without sulking about it
- Strong copywriting and video editing skills, with a real eye for the details that make a cut feel polished, and you already know tools like Riverside and SproutSocial
- Experience building content or social from the ground up at a fast-growing company
- A collaborator people want to work with. You make the people around you, and the partners you work with, better
