User Reported Account Access And Support Friction · Two separately controlled public review platforms carried recent individual reports of account-access and support friction involving the Tandem language-exchange app. A Google Play reviewer described a 3–4 week verification wait and an inaccessible reopened support ticket; a Trustpilot reviewer alleged an unexplained ban while on an annual subscription. These are unverified individual user reports, with no established common incident, denominator, or evidence of prevalence; this is a narrow customer-facing operating signal only.
Scope: Tripod Technology GmbH’s Tandem language-exchange app (package net.tandem), listed in Berlin. The reviewers’ identities, locations, accounts, and allegations are unverified. This does not establish prevalence, company-wide service quality, financial condition, or an employing relationship for the reviewers.
Evidence reviewed 2026-10-24. This claim does not establish overall financial stability.
