The Role
trinckle is a Berlin-based software company that makes complex design processes for additive manufacturing easier and more accessible. Our design automation software helps companies create and customize 3D-printable parts without relying on extensive CAD expertise.
We’re looking for a motivated working student to support our team in testing design tools, developing 3D-printed samples, and exploring new applications for additive manufacturing. This is an opportunity to gain practical experience with industrial 3D printing, cloud-based design software, and real product development projects.
What you’ll do
- Test design tools and document your findings clearly
- Support the testing and improvement of trinckle’s cloud-based software applications
- Design and produce sample parts for different use cases using an industrial FDM printer
- Collaborate with software developers, product managers, designers, and engineers on ongoing projects
- Research additive manufacturing applications, technologies, and potential market opportunities
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions, contributing your own ideas and perspectives
- Help us improve workflows, products, and services through practical testing and analysis
Your profile
- You’re currently enrolled in a relevant degree program, such as computer science, engineering, product or industrial design, or a related field
- Ideally, you have at least one year of studies remaining and are interested in working with us over a longer period
- You have a solid understanding of 3D modeling and practical experience with CAD software
- You’re familiar with additive manufacturing and common 3D printing technologies
- You approach technical problems in a structured and practical way
- You can work independently, communicate openly, and contribute effectively within a team
- You have strong written and spoken English skills; German is a plus
- You’re based in Berlin or Brandenburg, or can work regularly from our Berlin office
Why trinckle?
- Gain hands-on experience with industrial 3D printing and design automation software
- Work on practical projects with experienced professionals from software, product, design, and engineering
- Learn how additive manufacturing applications are developed, tested, and brought into industrial workflows
- Take ownership of meaningful tasks and contribute your ideas from the start
- Benefit from flexible working hours and a hybrid working setup
- Join a collaborative, international team based in Berlin
We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and identities. If the role sounds interesting but you don’t meet every requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
