Your team
At Noxtua, we’re building Europe’s Legal AI, and our PR & Communications team makes sure the legal professionals, publishers, and partners we work with meet Noxtua in person, not only on screen. As our Event Manager, you’ll own our event presence end to end: from our booths at the leading legal and LegalTech conferences, to our own formats such as GC Nights, the Publishers’ Summit and customer events, to the internal Hub events that bring our team together, such as hackathons. You’ll work closely with Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, Product and People to make every event on brand, well run and worth attending.
You’ll report to Dr Clara Herdeanu, Chief Communications Officer at Noxtua, who has spent more than 10 years in Communications and Public Affairs on both the agency and corporate side, communicating for companies including Mozilla, Stack Overflow, Alteryx, Open-Xchange and ebm-papst. At Noxtua, she is part of the management team and leads national and international Communications and Public Affairs.
About you
Experience: 3 years plus in event management, ideally in B2B, tech, legal, or professional services, including trade fairs and conferences as well as your own event formats.
End-to-end ownership: You've planned and delivered events from concept to wrap-up: budget, venues, suppliers, logistics, guest management, and follow-up.
Events and booths: Experience negotiating sponsorship packages and organising booth appearances with stand builders and organisers.
Organisation: Highly organised, calm under pressure and hands-on on site, with a keen eye for detail and for the guest experience.
Stakeholders and suppliers: Confident working with internal teams, venues and partners, and keeping everyone on time and on budget.
Languages and travel: Fluent English; German is a plus. Based in Berlin and willing to travel within Europe for events.
Your responsibilities
External events: select, negotiate, and manage sponsorships at conferences and trade fairs; organise and run our booth appearances, from stand design and logistics to staffing and materials; lead on-site organisation where needed.
Owned outward-facing events: plan and deliver our own formats, including GC Nights, the Publishers' Summit and customer events: concept, agenda, venue, invitations and guest management, run of show and follow-up.
Internal events: organise our Hub team events, such as hackathons, that bring Noxtua's teams together across locations.
Budget and suppliers: plan and track event budgets, and manage agencies, venues, caterers and stand builders.
Event calendar: maintain the annual event calendar and coordinate timelines with Comms, Marketing, and Partners.
Measure and improve: attendance reports, leads, feedback, and cost per event, and use the results to decide where we invest next.
