Das erwartet Dich
Caspar Health builds digital rehabilitation products that enable patients to continue their therapy beyond the clinic and help therapists support them more efficiently.
As a Senior Fullstack Engineer in our Healthcare Professionals Squad, you will build and improve the interface therapists use to manage their daily work. Working across our Ruby on Rails backend and React and TypeScript frontend, you will shape solutions with Product and Design and take them from an initial problem through to production.
You will join a cross-functional team of four engineers and a UX/UI Designer. Together, you will improve how healthcare professionals communicate with patients and deliver therapy—while shaping the architecture, reliability and maintainability of the underlying software.
We appreciate your expertise and wish to provide full transparency regarding the compensation range for this role. Your starting salary will be aligned with your qualifications, relevant experience, skill set, and market benchmarks. Remuneration for this position follows our internal salary bands and ranges from €76,000 to €82,000 gross annually (based on a full-time 40-hour work week).
Deine Herausforderungen
In this role, you will:
Learn the workflows supported by our therapist interface, become familiar with our architecture and ship your first improvements during your first three months
Take ownership of larger full-stack features—from shaping requirements with Product and Design to implementation, testing, release and iteration
Build and improve features across our Ruby on Rails backend and React and TypeScript frontend
Make technical implementation decisions about code structure, testing approaches and incremental refactoring
Decide how to break down and deliver work within agreed priorities and engineering standards
Lead technical recommendations for changes affecting shared architecture, other teams or delivery commitments
Improve the therapist experience as well as the reliability and maintainability of the underlying software
Dein Profil
Several years of experience building and operating web applications in production
Strong experience with Ruby on Rails and experience with React and modern TypeScript
Strong understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL), APIs, and testing
The ability to navigate ambiguous requirements, make sound technical trade-offs and turn problems into maintainable solutions
A product mindset: you seek to understand the intended outcome rather than treating implementation as an isolated task
The judgement and independence to take work from an initial problem through to a production result
Professional working proficiency in English
You do not need to meet every requirement perfectly. If the role interests you and you believe your experience could help us improve the platform, we encourage you to apply.
